Summer Short-Term Intensive Program Enrolling Now!!

Available for immediate registration, Oak Grove Center adds a Summer Track of therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing difficulties with: depression, anger, family conflict, self-harming behaviors, and/or chemical dependency. For over 20 years, Oak Grove has been serving children and adolescents in need of a more intensive learning environment.

Does your child experience any of the following problems?
• Moodiness
• Rages or uncontrollable anger
• Cutting or other self-injurious behaviors
• Defiance and disrespect
• Aggression
• School failure
• Social isolation
• Eating problems
• Use of drugs and or alcohol

If so, Oak Grove Center may be able to help your family. Oak Grove understands the pressures that today’s youth are facing and offer a variety of therapeutic programs to help Children and Adolescents overcome these challenges. Oak Grove Center, a nonprofit treatment center, has been providing comprehensive mental health and chemical dependency services for children and adolescents since 1989. Recently, Oak Grove has expanded and refined their Short Term Intensive program to specially work toward stabilizing the client, teaching coping skills and improving home and family functioning in a 28-30 day format.

Upon completion of the Short Term Intensive Program it is our goal that each client will be successful and will:

  • Develop a personalized safety plan including safe coping skills
  • Learn a variety of skills to be utilized daily to improve safety and functioning
  • Improve communication, conflict resolution, and problem solving within their families
  • Improve ability to express themselves and manage uncontrollable emotions
  • Receive a Tool Box filled with materials acquired while in care to be utilized after treatment. The Tool Box will be personalized to each client and is designed to reinforce the skills and techniques learned to ensure safety
  • Develop their Map for Success individualized according to specific treatment goals for each client.
  • Develop their Treatment Goals Checklist. The checklist will also contain the personal goals of the client, such as issues with family or home life.
  • Will receive and utilize a Composition Book for clients to use as a journal or for note taking while in the weekly therapy sessions.
  • Develop an individualized Crisis Safety Plan which will include contact information for local resources, emergency contacts, hotline numbers, etc.

Levels of Care
Oak Grove Center offers three different levels of care for ages 5-18: Intensive Outpatient (2 hours, three days per week), Partial Hospital (6-8 hours, 5 days a week), and ages 9-18 Residential treatment (24 hour care). Each client receives a customized treatment plan designed to meet the needs of the client and the family.

Autism Program »

Providing ABA services and supports for students ages 5-22 identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Other Health Impairment as appropriate.

Day Programs (Ages 5-22) »

Our Day Program serves K-12 students from Riverside and San Diego County and is comprised of Day Students, Day Treatment as well as Extended Day Students. View more information about this program.

Intensive Outpatient Program »

Available through arrangements for clients who can benefit from individual, group and family therapy as well as chemical dependency. Available after school. Outpatient services can be arranged for weekday or evening. View more information about this program.

Oak Grove Interact Club »

The Oak Grove Interact Club is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Temecula. Ms. Rachel Borg from Class 3 is the Club Advisor. Our youth are learning about the value of “Service Above Self”

Partial Hospitalization »

A Mon-Fri program for children and youth 5-18 that do not need 24 hour care but do require more intensive treatment. The Partial program includes group, individual, family therapy, nursing as well as psychiatry and medication monitoring.

Residential Treatment (Ages 8-18) »

We serve children and youth ages 8-18 who need 24 hour treatment and care.

Special Education Nonpublic School »

The school serves students from districts throughout California. The teaching staff is comprised of an excellent group of educators with expertise in the fields of learning disabilities and emotional problems. Look here for more information about our program services.

Sports Program »

Sports and recreation builds character, teaches teamwork and is beneficial in treatment. Oak Grove offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive as well character building sports.

Wraparound Program »

The wraparound process provides comprehensive, community-based services and support to assist families as they work toward reunification or to in order to remain with their families and communities.
